Local playwright kicks off arts festival with comedy about Jewish life on the Prairies

Jenna Berenbaum’s debut professional play, 18 Jews Order Chinese Food, will be performed at the Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon from February 5 to 16.

The comedy explores Jewish life on the Prairies and serves as the opening production for the Saskatchewan Jewish Arts Festival.

This marks a significant milestone in Berenbaum’s career as a playwright.
