Agnes Keleti, Holocaust survivor, oldest living Olympic medal winner, dies at age 103

Ágnes Keleti, Holocaust survivor and celebrated gymnast, passed away at 103 in Budapest. She survived the Holocaust by hiding under a false identity after being removed from her gymnastics team in 1941 due to her Jewish heritage. Her father and relatives perished at Auschwitz, while her mother and sister survived.

Keleti won 10 Olympic medals, including five golds, at the 1952 Helsinki and 1956 Melbourne Games. After seeking asylum in Australia in 1956, she moved to Israel, training the Israeli Olympic team until the 1990s. Her legacy exemplifies resilience and triumph.
