Eighty years after thousands of Greek Jews were murdered, Thessaloniki’s Holocaust museum is finally set to open

Thessaloniki is set to open its Holocaust museum, 80 years after the mass deportation and murder of its Jewish population during World War II.

The museum aims to honor the memory of the victims and educate future generations about the atrocities committed.

The project has received significant support, including financial contributions from Germany, and is expected to be completed by 2026.
