Jesus College's first Jewish wedding

On August 25, 2024, Stephanie Posner and Jonathan Harounoff made history by holding the first Jewish wedding at Jesus College, University of Cambridge.

The couple, who met as undergraduates and founded the college's Jewish society, held their ceremony under a chuppah in Chapel Court, with approximately 80 guests in attendance.

Their wedding included traditional Jewish rituals and was a testament to their active involvement in the college community and their commitment to their faith.

Both have since pursued successful careers and continue to contribute to Jewish life and culture.
