Young Jewish leaders return from Israel mission

Nineteen young Jewish leaders from Australia and New Zealand participated in the ZFA Young Leaders' Mission 2025, aiming to cultivate future community advocates.

These individuals, representing major youth movements and the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS), were chosen for their leadership potential and dedication to Jewish identity.

The mission included visits to Jerusalem, Southern Israel, and the Arava region, where participants engaged with survivors, community leaders, and activists to gain insights into leadership and advocacy.

Guided by educators Nahshon Aloni and Baruch Goberman, the program emphasized firsthand knowledge and conviction in shaping Jewish life and advocacy in Australia and New Zealand. ZFA President Jeremy Leibler highlighted the mission as an investment in future Jewish leadership, while ZFA CEO Alon Cassuto acknowledged the support of partners like UIA, Machon, the Jewish Agency, the World Zionist Organization, and the Arava-Australia Partnership.
